Double cleansing has been used by beauty gurus all around the world and is an absolute DO for healthy, balanced, purified skin.
From acne to aging skin to skin ailments such as rosacea and eczema, this cleansing method is going to be your new saving grace! This is especially true if you have very oily skin, you wear a full face of make-up on a daily basis, live in a polluted city or just want simply glowing skin! This is especially helpful for those with sensitive skin or teenagers with raging acne!
How does it work? Double cleansing works by breaking down make-up, oils (yes, oils!) with an oil based cleanser: Hydra Baby Oil and then following up with a deeper water based cleanser: the spa bars to remove sweat, bacteria and old skin cells. This oil + soap combo will not clog your pores, make your skin oilier or dry out your skin. It will instead re-hydrate, smooth and balance your skin’s pH!
We all know oil + water don’t mix, but when it comes to double cleansing, this is a match made in heaven!
The Process:
Step 1: Remove any make-up from your face as usual with your Hydra Baby Oil
Step 2: Soak a washcloth or your facial sponge in warm water and apply it to your face and gently remove any remaining impurities and oil using soft, circular motions.
Step 3: Cleansing Hydra Baby Oil – Place a small amount of the Hydra Baby Oil onto clean hands and massage your face and neck in soft, circular motions making sure to dislodge any remaining impurities on your face.
Step 4: Spa Bar specifically chosen for your skin type – Lather your spa bar into your hands and massage your face again in soft, circular motions until you feel that the oil has been removed. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a clean, dry towel.
*Note from our Holistic Esthetician: You can double-cleanse a few times per week or as much as you feel is necessary depending on your environment, facial status and desire! If you have a teenager, it’s best to start out with the ‘Normal’ type soap option.

Our cold-processed Pink Himalayan Salt Soap with bentonite clay is a rich and moisturizing soap which is great for the whole body! It helps against dandruff, other ailments on the head, helps to moisturize and sooth the skin due to the pink salt all the way from the Himalayan mountains! Bentonite clay has amazing absorbing capabilities, which is great for oily, acne prone skin since it can suck up all that excess sebum easily. The Himalayan salt and bentonite clay are a great combination for soothing any skin ailments involving bacteria and fungus (also impurities) like psoriasis and eczema.

KEY INGREDIENTS:
COCONUT OIL: Coconut oil is known for its soothing and moisturizing effects when applied topically. It has anti-microbial + anti-inflammatory properties when applied externally to the skin.
CANOLA OIL: Canola oil contains both omega-3, omega-6 fatty acids and is rich in vitamin C, E and K. This combination is great for improving the texture of the skin and hair. Applying this oil regularly on your body can boost the production of collagen due to its high anti-oxidant count. Canola oil is also a great hair stimulant and is also a great moisturizer. It aids in diminishing dryness, frizz and split ends; as well as dandruff.
CASTOR OIL: Castor oil is highly concentrated with fatty acids which help it to penetrate the skin and moisturize it easily. It restores hydration on the skin and removes dry patches.
HIMALAYAN PINK SEA SALT: Himalayan Pink sea salt has a high mineral concentration and has the ability to improve skin hydration and reduce inflammation due to its high magnesium and potassium levels. It relieves dry, sensitive and itchy skin due to acne, eczema and psoriasis. When applied to the scalp its sodium and sulfur content helps to cleanse the scalp of dandruff while fighting off yeast overgrowth. Himalyan Pink sea salt also cleanses the scalp and improves hair follicle quality which in turn reduces hair loss.
BENTONITE CLAY: Bentonite clay has a ton of benefits for the skin and hair. When applied to the scalp, it draws out toxins and contains many minerals that are essential for hair growth such as sodium, potassium and calcium. It gets to get rid of dandruff by soaking up the extra sebum that is secreted due to a head fungus. Since the fungus has nothing to live off of, it prevents it from growing and thriving further. It dexofies, exfoliataes, clarifies and purifies your pores, and infuses your skin with important minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and silicon.
