Our cold-processed Pink Himalayan Salt Soap with bentonite clay is a rich and moisturizing soap which is great for the whole body! It helps against dandruff, other ailments on the head, helps to moisturize and sooth the skin due to the pink salt all the way from the Himalayan mountains! Bentonite clay has amazing absorbing capabilities, which is great for oily, acne prone skin since it can suck up all that excess sebum easily. The Himalayan salt and bentonite clay are a great combination for soothing any skin ailments involving bacteria and fungus (also impurities) like psoriasis and eczema.

KEY INGREDIENTS: 

COCONUT OIL: Coconut oil is known for its soothing and moisturizing effects when applied topically. It has anti-microbial + anti-inflammatory properties when applied externally to the skin.

CANOLA OIL: Canola oil contains both omega-3, omega-6 fatty acids and is rich in vitamin C, E and K. This combination is great for improving the texture of the skin and hair. Applying this oil regularly on your body can boost the production of collagen due to its high anti-oxidant count. Canola oil is also a great hair stimulant and is also a great moisturizer. It aids in diminishing dryness, frizz and split ends; as well as dandruff.

CASTOR OIL: Castor oil is highly concentrated with fatty acids which help it to penetrate the skin and moisturize it easily. It restores hydration on the skin and removes dry patches.

HIMALAYAN PINK SEA SALT: Himalayan Pink sea salt has a high mineral concentration and has the ability to improve skin hydration and reduce inflammation due to its high magnesium and potassium levels. It relieves dry, sensitive and itchy skin due to acne, eczema and psoriasis. When applied to the scalp its sodium and sulfur content helps to cleanse the scalp of dandruff while fighting off yeast overgrowth. Himalyan Pink sea salt also cleanses the scalp and improves hair follicle quality which in turn reduces hair loss.

BENTONITE CLAY: Bentonite clay has a ton of benefits for the skin and hair. When applied to the scalp, it draws out toxins and contains many minerals that are essential for hair growth such as sodium, potassium and calcium. It gets to get rid of dandruff by soaking up the extra sebum that is secreted due to a head fungus. Since the fungus has nothing to live off of, it prevents it from growing and thriving further. It works similarly on the skin by absorbing excess oil on the skin without stripping your skin of its natural oils. It dexofies, exfoliataes, clarifies and purifies your pores, and infuses your skin with important minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and silicon. Bentonite clay is also a powerhouse when it comes to healing and soothing symptoms from eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis to name a few.

LAVANDIN ESSENTIAL OIL: When applied topically, lavandin essential oil acts as an anti-septic which can assist in relieving redness, itching and swelling of the skin when applied externally to the skin and scalp.

USAGE DIRECTION: Rub the bar directly onto your skin and hair to create a lather and wash. If using a washcloth/loofah: lather onto your washer of choice, create a lather and wash. Use as desired. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

*Notes:

1. If using the soaps to wash the hair with, you must rub the bar of soap in your hair very well to create a good lather. It takes a bit of work as the soap needs to work to remove the built up residue from the hair/hair follicles.

2. If just starting to use soaps for the first time on the hair/scalp, your hair and scalp will go through a ‘detox’ phase where the residues from previously used products will be purged. Your hair will feel different and you will most likely feel a waxy residue when washing. This waxy feeling is NOT due to the soaps as there is no wax by-product used. This sensation and feeling will subside based on the severity of the residue in the follicles.
